THE WORK AND THE FINISH
How is an ADU drywall scope prepared?
Use the approved design to identify new partitions, ceilings and specified assemblies. Confirm behind-wall readiness and required inspections, then select the finish by room. Drywall work does not establish whether the dwelling is allowed or approved.
What if the ADU is a conversion?
Separate retained surfaces from newly framed work. Include the finish transition at existing walls and ceilings, with the project design governing room materials and assemblies. Primer and paint need a defined scope too.
